The Art & Craft of Building

Aspiring builders and makers, join Mr. Guest for The Art and Craft of Building. Starting Thursday, March 21 from noon to 3:00 pm, and running for 6 weeks (with a two week break for spring vacation), this class covers introductory building skills, including conceptualization, drafting of ideas, and learning to use basic woodworking tools.

Along the way students encounter basic math, geometry, lettering, labeling and more. The class is  co-taught by UHS parent Verity Freebern, who is building her own tiny house.
