This workshop allow a space for parents and adolescents (ages12-24) to explore anxiety, stress, and effective coping mechanisms. Topics will include an overview adolescence from a psychosocial perspective, sharing of challenges, and coping specific for adults and adolescents. In a supportive and interactive environment, we will explore some common challenges of parenting adolescents and of being an adolescent. We will also allow space for parents and adolescents to explore some of their concerns in peer groups while introducing coping skills and recommendations for reducing anxiety.
