Me in a nutshell: I love being a teacher. I adore helping others to achieve their goals; for me, seeing the spark of understanding and connection in the eyes of my students is a true delight. Growing up in Addis Ababa in the 80’s, school was a genuinely fun social :) We were eager to learn more everyday because the material inspired our imaginations and engaged our potential. This feeling and ethos is what I aspire to bring into every class with my students. Academically, I hold an MFA from USC's Peter Stark Producing Program and a BA in History from Princeton University. I also hold a Diploma from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (ALAM, LAMDA), focusing on Verse and Prose and Dramaturgy. My areas of focus in teaching include the sciences, social science, business, math, history, and, of course English. I am so excited to be here and can’t wait to put my nerdy skills to good use with you and yours!
