Learning grammar is one of the most fundamental parts of learning any language. Let's dive deep and learn all of the rules to help you express yourself clearly.

Ill-fitting grammar are like ill-fitting shoes. You can get used to it for a bit, but then one day your toes fall off and you can’t walk to the bathroom. ~Jasper Fforde

1 hr. Thursdays On Campus, 1:00pm - 2:00pm

Students will learn about expanding their imagination to communicate their unique stories and visions. We will explore a variety of different genres, including fantasy, science fiction, comedy, and many other creative types of writing. Additionally, in this class, we will do assignments that stem from "outside the box," such as writing a story from an animal's perspective or writing a story inspired by a painting, song, or dance. In the past, we have created work based on literature, quotes, quirky characters, as well as personal stories. Students will share work and learn from their peers and most importantly we will have fun!

1.5 hr, Mondays Online, 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm

This class will provide students with a fundamental understanding of literature, essay writing, and poetry. Students will be given the tools to understand and analyze prolific texts so they can understand themes, literary devices, plot, characterization, and how to write and discuss the work in an intelligent way. Additionally, this class is meant to install passion and excitement for these great works of literature, hoping to inspire them to write, read, and continue the evolution of their literary journey.
