Students will learn about expanding their imagination to communicate their unique stories and visions. We will explore a variety of different genres, including fantasy, science fiction, comedy, and many other creative types of writing. Additionally, in this class, we will do assignments that stem from "outside the box," such as writing a story from an animal's perspective or writing a story inspired by a painting, song, or dance. In the past, we have created work based on literature, quotes, quirky characters, as well as personal stories. Students will share work and learn from their peers and most importantly we will have fun!
