Welcome to the UHS Spring 2021 Catalog
Learn about our class offerings and register for classes. Class listings include course details—description, teacher information, schedule, and fees. You may also view classes listed on a weekly grid.
To help you build your student’s schedules and avoid conflicts, use our schedule worksheet to plan for the spring term.
You do not need to login to this site to register for class. To register, use the registration button, found here and on catalog pages.
Login here is not required to view and register for classes.
Instead, click Register to set up your Parent Portal and enroll in classes. Access to virtual classrooms is not enabled until the term begins.
Before classes begin, you will receive an email with information about our virtual classrooms at UHS Online, including how to set up an account and how to access virtual classrooms once the term starts.
New to Homeschooling? Have questions? Need help?
Our staff has over 80 years of experience homeschooling between us. We have used PSAs (Private School Affidavits), worked with charters, explored the resources of our communities, navigated through IEPs (Individual Educational Plans) and have come together working at UHS. We know how daunting this can feel when you begin homeschooling your children. If you have questions, we can help. To set up a free 30 minute consultation, send an email to Anna, click here.
Pandemic Information
For the health and safety of our community, Urban Homeschoolers reserves the right to move classes from in-person to online. As we publish registration, the situation with the pandemic is fluid and we must be able to respond to circumstances as they develop. All our classes are designed to move seamlessly from online to in person. We are developing strategies for on-campus classes that meet the recommendations of health experts. When it is safe to do so, we will hold classes on campus.
We understand that not every family will be able to return to campus when others are able. With that in mind, we will have an option for students to continue to still attend class virtually. We will follow the guidelines set out by our student's charter schools, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and the recommendations of the CDC and WHO.
