Self-Directed Learning 101: How to Do More Cool Stuff as a Teenager Ages 13-17
This is a fast-paced, inspiring, and hands-on introduction to self-directed learning for alternatively-educated teenagers who want to make the most of their freedom. Come ready to take notes, dream big, participate in weird challenges, and have a boatload of fun. (Based on the Self-Directed Learning 101 microschool that Blake ran in Fall 2020.)
11am – 3:30pm (bring your own lunch)
Day 1: Self-Direction, Goals, How to Learn Anything
Day 2: Productivity, Connection, Transitioning to College and Career
Day 3: Advanced Socializing, Advanced Productivity, Sharing Your Work
